Water Zorbing refers to an inflatable sphere used to float, walk or run on water. The only difference with this one is that you are enclosed inside it.
The Water Zorb Ball had been around for quite long when it was commercially created by Charles Blane Jones from Oklahoma, USA, in 1998. Since then, it has rapidly grown to the most enjoyed inflatable games worldwide, due to the fun it brings to the table.
What you should know about the Water Zorbing Balls(s);
♣ They are mostly made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) or PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) materials.
♣ An average ball weighs approximately 15 kilograms.
♣ It needs to be inflated (filled with air) for it to move easily.
♣ It can be inflated using an air pump or blower. This can take approximately a minute for the pump while it can take more for other blowers.
♣ After being inflated, you are ready to go and enjoy the fun on the water.
♣ You must spend a maximum of 15 minutes inside the ball due to the limited air supply. Thereafter, you can completely deflate and inflate the ball again to continue with your game.
♣ They can freely be used by both children and adults. This is easier since either of them can easily fit into it, given its 2-metre diameter.
♣ To ensure safety, every participant must be supervised by trained and competent staff more especially the children.
♣ They can be used at marinas, swimming pools, theme parks and lakes, among other places.
Note: Water Zorbing equipments made from TPU are more expensive than those from PVC or any other material if there is. One of the reasons is its suitability for use in cold weather or snow.
